About Us
Landlord Certificate Hub is a growing London-based electrical compliance contractor specialising in EICRs, remedial works, fault finding, consumer unit upgrades, fire alarm installations and landlord compliance services.
We are NICEIC Approved Contractors and work with a range of estate agents, property management companies, landlords and housing providers across London.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join our team.
The Role
This is a hybrid position combining office-based management responsibilities with field-based electrical work.
The successful candidate will spend approximately 2-3 days per week in the office and 2-3 days per week on-site carrying out inspections, testing, fault finding and remedial works.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both technical electrical work and leading/supporting a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesQualified Supervisor Duties
- Acting as the company's NICEIC Qualified Supervisor.
- Reviewing and signing off EICRs and certification.
- Providing technical support and guidance to field engineers.
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with BS7671 and NICEIC requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of compliance and quality control.
- Supporting audits and maintaining NICEIC compliance standards.
Operational & Office Duties
- Allocating and managing engineer workloads.
- Scheduling jobs and supporting day-to-day operations.
- Reviewing completed reports and certification.
- Assisting with technical queries from engineers and clients.
- Helping improve systems, processes and quality standards.
Field Duties
- Carrying out EICRs within occupied residential properties.
- Fault finding and diagnostic work.
- Remedial electrical works.
- Consumer unit replacements and upgrades.
- Installation and testing of smoke alarms and landlord compliance works.
- Completing certification and reports accurately.
Essential Requirements
- JIB Gold Card.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified electrician.
- Strong fault-finding and testing experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good knowledge of BS7671.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Desirable
- Previous experience acting as an NICEIC Qualified Supervisor.
- Experience reviewing and signing off EICRs.
- Experience working within residential compliance and landlord services.
- Familiarity with certification software such as EasyCert.
- Experience managing or mentoring electricians.
