Derwent Manor Boutique Hotel is an independently owned hotel set in 20 acres of rolling countryside, a mere 30 minutes drive from Newcastle and Durham.
About the role... The moment a guest steps into our hotel we want them to walk into a genuinely memorable experience.
As a Receptionist, you will be the face of the company and the person our guests will rely on, not only be the person to offer local insights and anticipating every detail in advance, creating a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.
Some of the duties you’ll undertake in this varied role include - telephone enquiries, reservations, emails, preparing invoices, taking payments from our guests, conducting end of shift/day banking, and preparing for the shift ahead.
About You...
* Experience in a similar or front facing customer service role is ESSENTIAL with an outgoing and bubbly personality.
* Strong communication skills through a variety of means
* Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills to ensure a seamless and memorable experience, proactively resolving any challenges that may arise
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks
As a 7 day a week operation, shifts will be worked on a rota basis, weekends involved. We are happy to work round home life schedule's where possible but this is not guaranteed.
Working as and when needed on a rota basis 0hr contract to support needs of business when .
Shifts will range from an Early shift 7am-4pm / Middle 10-6pm / Late 2 pm-10pm - including weekend work.
