As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that designated spaces are spotless, hygienic, and well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout your shift
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures to promote environmental responsibility
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial or domestic cleaning is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
- Good communication skills and reliability are essential
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is desirable
