As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop a career within hospitality.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and crockery.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation as required.
- Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
- Receive and organise deliveries, ensuring stock is stored appropriately.
- Comply with food safety, health, and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with keeping storage areas clean, tidy, and well organised.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment.
- Flexible approach to shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
