About the role:
Justteachers are working with a primary school in Norwich who are seeking a confident HLTA from September 2026 to support teaching, lead learning, and help shape a warm, ambitious school community.
This is a long term role on full‑time supply basis, ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading small‑group learning to support progress in core subjects
- Covering whole‑class teaching when required
- Supporting teachers with planning, assessment, and classroom organisation
- Helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Working closely with staff, pupils, and families to support wellbeing and behaviour
Pre-requisites:
- HLTA status (or willingness to work towards it)
- Two education or school based references
- Must have clear enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
- Experience working in a primary school setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A warm, proactive approach to supporting children
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
