Summary
We are seeking a professional class 2 Driver to join our team at Millbrook Recovery in GB. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of vehicles, supporting our mission to provide exceptional recovery services.
Responsibilities
- Operate recovery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Deliver vehicles to designated locations efficiently while adhering to traffic laws.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all recoveries.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Assist with warehouse organization when required.
- Support the team in providing excellent customer service during vehicle recovery operations.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed trucks.
You Will Need
- To be over the age of 25.
- Valid driving license suitable for heavy vehicles.
- Provide us with a DBS check upon job offer.
- Ability to take assigned vehicle home essential.
- Work 'on-call' out of hours duties.
- Be able to work through public holidays.
- Have a flexible approach to working life, able to work extra hours where required.
- Good mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic vehicle checks.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and clients.
- Previous experience in vehicle recovery prefered.
