The Role
The role will involve carrying out a wide range of domestic electrical work and commercial maintenance , including:
- Consumer unit upgrades
- EICRs and electrical testing
- Fault finding
- Full and partial rewires
- Installation of additional sockets and lighting
- EV charger installations
- Extractor fan and ventilation installations
- Outdoor electrical installations
- General domestic electrical maintenance
- General commercial electrical maintenance
- New installations
You will initially work alongside the company director while getting familiar with how we operate, our systems and our expected standards. As you become confident in the role, you will be expected to carry out jobs independently and communicate professionally with customers.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified electrician
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
- AM2 qualification
- Hold a current 18th Edition qualification
- Have experience carrying out domestic electrical work
- Be confident working in customers’ homes
- Have good fault-finding skills
- Have good attention to detail and take pride in their work
- Be reliable, punctual and professional
- Be comfortable communicating directly with customers
- Be willing to learn and develop their skills
