An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably EarlyYears Teacher to join our expanding nursery team. With an excellent reputation within the local community for high quality childcare Rothbury Kindergarten and the Early learning Partnership Nurseries are looking for someone with experience of working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activites aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) frameworkand children's interests.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers through regular communication.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure high standards of teaching and care.
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
- Experience working with children aged 2–5 years (preferred).
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
