About the Role

Lead, motivate and support a team of care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support.

Ensure the people we support receive care that is tailored to their individual needs, preferences and aspirations.

Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and guidance to staff, promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.

Support the Registered Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the home and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Assist with staff induction, training, performance management and development.

Maintain accurate care records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and company policies.

Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for both residents and colleagues.

Participate in the management on-call rota, providing advice and support to staff outside normal working hours when required.
Essential Requirements

Previous experience working within adult social care, ideally supporting adults with learning disabilities.

Experience in a senior care, Team Leader or supervisory role.

NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards achieving this qualification.

Full UK driving licence.

Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Working Pattern

This position operates on a three-week rolling rota and includes a combination of weekday and weekend shifts in line with the needs of the service.

The successful candidate will participate in the management on-call rota and be available to respond to operational matters, staffing issues and emergencies outside of normal working hours when required.
