Quality Checker – Potato Warehouse
Location: York, YO19
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: From £13.87 per hour, with higher rates after successful completion of training
SureStaffing is currently looking for Quality Checkers to join our team at a busy potato warehouse in York (YO19).
This is a great opportunity to join a friendly working environment with full training provided on site. No previous experience is required, as you will receive all the training you need to carry out the role successfully.
Pay Rates
- 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM: £13.87 per hour during training
- 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM: £15.59 per hour during training
- After successfully completing training:
- 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM: £14.49 per hour
- 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM: £16.93 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Checking the quality of potatoes and finished products
- Identifying and reporting quality issues
- Ensuring products meet the required quality standards
- Carrying out regular quality checks throughout the production process
- Following company procedures and health & safety requirements
- Working as part of a team to maintain high standards
About You
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who:
- Have good attention to detail
- Are comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Can follow instructions and quality procedures
- Are punctual, reliable and committed to their work
- Are willing to learn and complete the required training
- Can work Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
