We are currently looking for a labourer/trainee to join our resin flooring team. We are looking for a hard working individual who is good with their hands and willing to learn our trade. Starting from a labour basis we are looking to hopefully train the right individual up to become a competent resin floor layer and someone who can then manage individual flooring installations. As development occurs wages will be increased to reflect the new responsibility held.
Based in Swindon, Wiltshire we cover the whole of the UK but generally work within a 1-2 hour drive time from our premises (SN4 0HT) 90% of the time. Applicant will need to be able to make their way to and from our premises on a daily basis.
Typical labouring activities to begin with will include:
- Preparation for jobs - loading / unloading the vans, maintenance of equipment.
- Using a range of floor preparation equipment.
- Mixing products of resin for the layers.
- Applying resin flooring products.
- Performing clean up tasks on site.
- Ensuring good H&S practice throughout.
Requirements:
- Full driving license.
- Some jobs require overnight stays (increased pay / bonuses will be provided).
- Clean criminal record due to working in sensitive environments.
- Ability to work under pressure, in a physically demanding role.
- Able to communicate well with a team, and other trades on site.
- CSCS Card (would be beneficial but not essential).
- Experience driving large vans (again beneficial but not essential).
