Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials
- Support patients before, during, and after treatment, providing reassurance and care
- Maintain high standards of infection control and sterilisation of equipment
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments and answering patient queries
- Uphold professional standards of communication and organisational skills within the practice
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients
Experience
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment scheduling
- Strong organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient care and support
- Interest in nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key
