Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Working pattern: Monday & Friday, (2 hour-shifts) Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday (2.5 hour-shifts) after 6pm
Total: 11.5 hours per week
Job Summary:
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading the cleaning team while ensuring our clients' premises are maintained to the highest standards. You will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day cleaning operation, supporting and motivating team members, maintaining excellent standards of service, and acting as the main point of contact for the Site Manager during your shift.
You will lead by example, carrying out cleaning duties alongside your team, monitoring performance, completing quality checks, promptly reporting any issues or safety hazards, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. Your safety is critical to us, so we will ensure you receive the training and support needed to perform your role successfully.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to the Site Manager.
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be expected to:
- Supervise and support the cleaning team, ensuring all duties are completed to the required standards.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity and performance.
- Carry out quality inspections and address any areas requiring improvement.
- Provide cleaning services within our clients' sites, ensuring high-quality service provision and excellent customer satisfaction.
- Complete cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning washrooms, and other duties as required.
- Assist with the induction and on-the-job training of new team members.
- Report staffing, equipment, maintenance, or health and safety issues to the Site Manager.
- Ensure good working relationships with colleagues and client site employees.
- Keep up to date with good working practices, products, and techniques.

- Comply with current Health and Safety legislation.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous cleaning experience, with supervisory or team leader experience preferred.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- The ability to motivate and support a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivation, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
- Awareness of relevant Health and Safety practices and procedures.
