In this dynamic role, you'll create memorable experiences for guests by serving food and beverages with enthusiasm, ensuring every visit is enjoyable and welcoming.
You will find yourself working between our central restaurant downstairs, expansive bar and terrace upstairs, and with reservations throughout the year in our Private Dining space, you have a great opportunity to hone dynamic hybrid hospitality skills. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude will be key to your success. Ensuring guests from local regulars, to visiting tourists are given the most authentic Gastro Foods experience.

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing recommendations when needed
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all food safety regulations
- Take accurate orders, process payments efficiently, and handle cash or card transactions with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas to ensure a safe and inviting atmosphere
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests
- Follow all health and safety standards related to food handling, serving, and alcohol service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and special events
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bartending is preferred but not required; training will be provided (this will be done within your initial month, ensuring training in each area of the FOH team).
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service policies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- A friendly, energetic attitude with a genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences
- Flexible with times of day, and days off, due to the nature of the hospitality environment, including but not exclusive to bank holidays and major holidays.

Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
