Celino’s Alexandra Parade G31 3BT is a busy multi award winning Italian restaurant & delicatessen in the heart of Glasgow’s East End. We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
This role offers 4-day or a 5-day working week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Head Chef in running a high-volume, fresh-food kitchen during peak service, including weekends.
- Taking full responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, including running the pass.
- Managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
- Supervising, training, and mentoring junior team members (CDPs and commis chefs).
- Ensuring all HACCP, health and hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
Salary
- Salary: between £15.00 per hour and £16.50 per hour

The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 2 years' experience at sous chef level in a high volume Italian restaurant.
- Ability to perform under pressure during peak service without compromising standards.
- Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available for this role).
Pay: £15.00-£16.50 per hour
