We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head Lamination, Viennoiserie & Pastry Chef to join this growing, family-run bakery business in Wimbledon.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and passionate pastry professional to take ownership of the lamination, viennoiserie, and pastry section within a thriving artisan bakery operation. The successful candidate will lead the production of high-quality croissants, pain au chocolat, Danish pastries, seasonal specials, and a range of pastry products, ensuring exceptional standards of consistency, quality, and presentation.
Working within a busy production bakery that supplies its own cafés as well as a growing wholesale business across London, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact within an ambitious and expanding company. You will be responsible for overseeing daily production, maintaining quality standards, driving creativity and innovation, and supporting the development of the wider bakery team.

The Person
The ideal Head Lamination, Viennoiserie & Pastry Chef will have the following:
- Proven experience within a lamination, viennoiserie, or pastry-focused role
- Previous experience leading or supervising a bakery or pastry section
- Strong knowledge of dough development, fermentation, lamination techniques, and viennoiserie production
- Experience producing a wide range of laminated products and pastries
- Ability to maintain exceptional standards within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Passion for artisan baking, pastry, and product development
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to train, mentor, and support junior team members
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Full right to work in the UK
