The rate of pay for this casual position ranges from £9.55 to £12.75 per hour, depending on your age. Hours vary but typical shift patterns are 9am-3pm and 8am-3pm with later finishes when required. We are seeking an individual who is able to work weekdays and weekends.

About The Role
To ensure that all housekeeping areas within the hotel are cleaned and presented to the Hastings Standard for the greatest enjoyment of our guests.

To clean and service bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas of the hotel. Typical tasks include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets, stripping and making beds.

To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.

To always maintain the security of bedrooms and stock, immediately reporting any breaches and dealing with lost property in accordance with company procedures.

To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.

To be knowledgeable about the hotel offerings and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.

Greeting guests and responding to their queries.

To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.

To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.

Any other duties as required by management.
About You
We would love you to have some similar previous experience, but this is not essential as our Housekeeping Team will provide you with full training.
