Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting chefs and kitchen staff during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
- Assist with basic food preparation when required.
- Empty bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly.
- Receive and store deliveries following company procedures.
- Keep storage areas organised and tidy.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with daily operational tasks.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen porter experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
