About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised, detail-driven HR & Compliance Administrator to own our onboarding and compliance processes end-to-end. You’ll be the crucial link between Recruitment and Staffing, managing a high-volume candidate pipeline and ensuring every new starter is fully cleared, compliant and ready to work on time.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead the full onboarding and offboarding process for all staff
· Verify right to work, ID, references and safeguarding documentation
· Process DBS checks and maintain strict compliance standards
· Keep candidates moving through the pipeline to meet tight start‑date deadlines
· Manage a busy inbox and high-volume administrative workload
· Maintain accurate trackers, systems and candidate records
· Work closely with Recruitment & Staffing to fill roles quickly and efficiently
· Prioritise urgent hires based on business needs
· Ensure all current staff remain fully compliant with up-to-date paperwork and training
· Coordinate careers fair attendance and support WEX (work experience) placements
· Review, refine and improve systems and processes for greater efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Essential
· Experience in onboarding, recruitment administration or compliance
· Exceptional organisation and ability to manage high-volume workloads
· Confident inbox management and comfort with admin-heavy roles
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Proactive, reliable and deadline-driven
Desirable
· Experience processing DBS checks
· Background in recruitment agency or temp staffing
· Knowledge of childcare, education or Ofsted-regulated environments
· Experience using HR database systems
· Experience using project management systems such as Asana or Monday.com
