Our team work in the Garstang community and we are looking for for a compassionate, sincere, Younger Adults Support Worker to meet the needs of a specific client that requires and requests particular care and attention.
Put simply being a Support Worker means directly supporting people with learning disability and physical disabilities.

We are specifically recruiting for a younger male client who needs 2:1 support. The right people will work as part of a dedicated team supporting the younger adult, ensuring he is safe and comfortable in his own home assisting to manage day- to - day life.
As a support worker you will be required to carryout a variety of tasks, personal care, toileting, pressure area care, medication administration, assisting with trips out in the community and supporting to develop relationships and play an active part in their local community as well as observations. Any complex care needs required, we provide full training and support.
You will be working in a small supportive team environment within the family home and given opportunities to progress your career. We require a flexible attitude to shift patterns with an expectation of evening and weekend support included.
The person currently attends college term time, meanings the role may suit an educational support worker part time working looking for additional evening and weekend work or additional hours during the school holidays with the flexible working patterns to suit hour of support increase during school holidays 9.30am to 8.30pm. We also require sleepovers and night support at times but this is not an essential part of the role.
We have full and part time vacancies with flexible working patterns. If the right person required additional hours above this client, we have other clients who you would work with along side this specific person to complete you hours of work during the weekdays term time.
We have visits which include days, evenings 3.30pm - 8.30pm, weekends 9.30am-8.30pm, and sleeping nights.
