Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and drink orders
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials to enhance the dining experience
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards in handling and serving food
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of dining areas
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Basic maths proficiency for order taking and bill processing
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Previous experience in a similar role or willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
