Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After-School Club Manager to oversee and coordinate engaging activities for children in our community. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a passion for child development, and the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and supervise after-school activities that promote learning, creativity, and socialisation among children.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children during programme hours by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, and external organisations to facilitate programme delivery and address any concerns.
- Manage daily operations of the club, including attendance records, activity schedules, and resource allocation.
- Lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, sports, educational games, and cultural programmes.
- Maintain a welcoming environment that encourages positive behaviour and inclusivity.
- Drive programme promotion through community outreach and communication with parents or guardians.
- Support children’s individual needs by providing guidance, encouragement, and nurturing care.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, nannying or youth programmes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with organising activities for children aged 5–12 years old.
- Experience in managing or leading groups of children in a safe and effective manner.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of French is a valuable asset for programmes involving bilingual activities.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation or off-site activities but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development through engaging activities.
