Job Opportunity: Doggy Day Care Assistant
Are you passionate about dogs and love spending time with them? We’re looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic Doggy Day Care Assistant to join our team!
About the Role:
As a Doggy Day Care Assistant, you'll be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of the dogs in our care. This is a hands-on role that involves supervising play, engaging with dogs of all breeds and sizes, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime, ensuring positive social behavior
- Monitor dogs for signs of illness or distress and report concerns promptly
- Feed dogs as per instructions and ensure fresh water is always available
- Perform daily cleaning duties including sanitizing play areas, feeding stations, and outdoor spaces
- Help with check-in/check-out of dogs and provide excellent customer service to pet parents
- Maintain accurate records of each dog’s behavior, activities, and any incidents
About You:
- Genuine love for animals, especially dogs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Willingness to get stuck in with cleaning and outdoor work in all weather
- Experience in animal care (preferred but not essential – training will be provided)
