Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance
- Train and supervise restaurant staff to ensure efficient and effective service
- Monitor food production and ensure consistent quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean and safe dining environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide training, and address any issues or concerns
Skills:
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant management
- Strong knowledge of bartending, culinary techniques, and food production
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Proficient in computer systems/software used in restaurant operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of team management principles and practices
