Shifts available
We currently have various days and hours available in Macclesfield, with a range of shifts to suit different availability.
We offer guaranteed contracted hours, giving you greater security and consistency in your working week.
What does a Care Assistant do?
No two days in care are exactly the same. You’ll visit people in their own homes and provide the individual support they need to continue living as independently as possible.
Your role may include:
- Helping with the important things day to day
- Supporting clients with personal care, washing and dressing
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Supporting mobility and helping clients move safely around their home
- Medication support
- Light household tasks
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Helping clients maintain their usual routines
- Supporting clients to remain connected with their community
- Keeping an eye on their general wellbeing and reporting any concerns
- Providing reassurance to clients and their families
Sometimes it’s the practical support that makes the difference. Sometimes it’s simply taking the time to sit, talk, complete a jigsaw, make a cup of tea or share a laugh.
