Thornbury Play & Learn Nursery are looking to recruit, on a casual basis, enthusiastic, energetic practitioners to cover staff sickness, holidays and when enhancements to staffing are needed for children needing additional support or outings such as forest school. You must be both flexible and reliable and generally available at short notice.
You must be able to communicate well with children and parents and demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team. The role is a flexible working position and hours will differ and are not guaranteed.
Candidates should be qualified to a minimum of Level 2 in childcare and have experience working with under 5’s.
Working knowledge of the EYFS is essential.
Duties will include setting up activities, supporting the children’s learning and development and contributing to the continuous improvement of the setting.

Nursery Core Hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 3.30pm, Term Time Only.
