We are looking for a confident and friendly Appointment Maker to support our pharmacy-led care home services by contacting care homes and arranging appointments and demonstrations with decision-makers.
The role focuses on introducing our pharmacy services to care homes, building positive relationships, and booking qualified appointments for the management team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys speaking with people and helping care homes discover safer and more efficient medication-management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact care homes by phone and email to introduce our pharmacy and eMAR services
- Speak with care-home managers, deputy managers, administrators, and decision-makers
- Arrange demonstrations and appointments for the business development team
- Follow up on emails, marketing campaigns, and previous enquiries
- Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and appointment outcomes
- Gather key information from care homes, including:
- Current medication management process
- Paper MAR or eMAR usage
- Existing providers
- Main operational challenges
- Build professional and friendly relationships with care-home staff
- Ensure appointment calendars are managed efficiently
- Meet weekly appointment and activity targets
- Update CRM systems and internal tracking documents
