We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide attentive guest service, addressing enquiries and resolving any issues promptly
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities in a friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Follow food safety regulations and ensure proper handling of food and beverages
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required during busy periods
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Experience in guest services or customer-facing roles will be beneficial
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour
