Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a drainage operative to join our team at Diamond Drainage.
Diamond Drainage provide a diverse range of drainage services to domestic, commercial and Industrial customers from our depot in Aberdeen. Our skilled workforce deal with blocked drains, spillages, flood evacuation, septic tank services, jet-vac, CCTV drain surveys, pipe lining, drain repairs and much more.
Responsibilities
- Carryout excavations and repairs to below ground drainage
- Replace drainage pipework
- Installation of new drainage pipework
- Reinstating pathways etc.
- Patch and Drain Lining (experience preferred but not essential)
- Communicate effectively with clients and reporting to Operations Manager and team daily
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundworks or a related field
- Knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Ability to operate relevant machinery safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Experience/Requirements
- At least 3 - 5 years experience in civils, ground work and drainage
- Good time keeping & punctuality
- Hold full Uk driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and competency in all aspects of drainage groundworks and civils
- NVQ in groundworks desirable but not essential
- A Valid CSCS card is essential
- Valid Street works qualifications
- Valid Digger license
- Confined Space or NRSWA qualified
- Have a can-do approach and problem solve attitude
- Show commitment and enthusiasm for the task in hand
- Able to resolve and approach problems logically
- Team player attitude essential
- Must be willing to participate and learn in the other business service activities

Pay: £36,148.00-£55,000.00 per year
