Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Admin Construction Based professional to support our construction projects through efficient administrative tasks. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations, managing documentation, and assisting project teams. Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining project documentation, including plans, permits, and reports
- Handling correspondence via email, phone calls, and other communication channels with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Organising schedules, appointments, and meetings related to construction projects
- Data entry and updating project management systems with accurate information
- Utilising Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace for document creation and collaboration
- Managing financial records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Ensuring all administrative processes adhere to company policies and industry standards
- Assisting with procurement processes by preparing purchase orders and tracking deliveries
- Maintaining organised filing systems both digitally and physically for easy retrieval of documents
Experience
- Previous office experience within the construction or related industry is preferred
- Proven administrative experience demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and data entry tools
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette combined with strong organisational abilities
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with high accuracy
- Experience in clerical tasks such as filing, scheduling, and correspondence management
This role requires a proactive individual capable of multitasking efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
