Job Title: Factory Operative / Supervisor
Department: Production
Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Factory Manager
Location: Coleshill, Birmingham.
Job Purpose
To support the efficient running of the production line by carrying out a range of manufacturing, assembly, and packing tasks in line with company standards, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Assemble products in line with specifications and work instructions
- Pack finished goods to required standards
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer requirements
- Report any faults, defects, or issues with machinery or materials to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Always follow all health and safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Assist with loading and unloading goods where required
- Complete basic production records and documentation accurately
Health & Safety
- Comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Report any hazards, accidents, or near misses immediately
- Ensure safe handling of materials and equipment
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Good level of physical fitness
- Ability to follow instructions and work to set processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic computer skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
- Experience operating machinery and basic machine maintenance
- Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace
- FLT Licence
Working Hours
8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
