Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support senior chefs in meal preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and waste is minimised through proper handling procedures
- Contribute to the efficient running of the kitchen by supporting team members during service periods
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as required
- Serve food to guests in a professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices is desirable
- Experience in serving guests or working in a fast-paced culinary environment will be considered an asset

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
