I'm currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join my team and work on a temporary supply basis with Zen Educate in a SEND school in North Tyneside.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting children and young people with additional needs while developing skills that are highly transferable to careers in education, health, social care, and beyond.
The Role
- Position: Learning Support Assistant
- Location: North Tyneside
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Contract: Temporary supply
You'll be supporting primary and secondary-aged learners with a range of complex needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Working alongside experienced teaching and support staff, you'll help pupils access learning, build confidence, develop independence, and reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive SEND environment.

Requirements
- A degree in Health & Social Care (or due to graduate shortly).
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- A caring, proactive, and resilient approach.
- A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply and pay for one before starting.
