Experienced Joiner Wanted – 1st & 2nd Fix (Basements, lofts & Extensions)
Broadoak is a well-established construction company specialising in basement conversions, extensions, loft conversions and full home remodelling across South Manchester and Cheshire. We're looking for a time-served joiner to join us on a self-employed CIS basis.
The work
You'll be working on high-quality residential projects, including first and second fix joinery, stud work and partitions, door hanging, skirting and architrave, staircases and bespoke fitting-out work on basement and loft conversions. Our projects are architect-designed and finish standards matter to us and our clients.
We're a close team and everyone pulls together. From time to time you'll be asked to assist other trades or help out where the job needs it, so we're after someone with the right attitude, not just the right skills.
What we're looking for
- Time-served joiner with solid site experience on residential refurbishment or new build
- Works on own initiative, can be handed a drawing and left to get on with it
- Happy to muck in and support other trades when needed
- Own tools and transport
- CSCS card advantageous
- UTR registered for CIS (we verify and deduct at the standard rate)
- Reliable, tidy worker who takes pride in the finish and respects clients' homes
