Faculty/Directorate
The University of Bradford is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Income Officer to support the delivery of an efficient income service. This role is key to ensuring accurate processing of income and maintaining high standards of financial control.
You will support income operations by handling transactions, resolving queries, and ensuring data accuracy, while contributing to a responsive, customer-focused service.
We are looking for a reliable, organised individual with experience in finance or administration, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills.
What you will be doing:
Maintain accurate debtor and customer account records across finance and student systems, ensuring records are complete, accurate and up to date.
Raise, process and distribute invoices, credit notes, refunds and payment reminders in accordance with University procedures.
Collect, record, receipt and allocate payments received through multiple payment methods including online payments, direct bank transfers, card payments, direct debits and electronic payment systems.
Qualifications/ experience:
Level 2 qualification e.g. GCSE - grades 9-4 or grades A*, A, B, C including Maths and English or substantial relevant practical experience.
