Ash Valley Golf Club is a family-owned, 200-acre parkland course located in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire. For over 20 years, we have provided a welcoming, relaxed environment for both beginners and experienced golfing pros.
The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic Weekend Clubhouse Staff to join our friendly team. This is a highly customer-facing role with a strong focus on delivering top-tier service to our members and guests. No golfing experience is required, as full training is provided on the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests, checking in golfers, and taking tee time bookings.
- Operating the till system and handling general phone and email enquiries.
- Preparing and serving simple café food (e.g., hot/cold sandwiches).
- Serving hot and cold beverages and managing the bar area.
- Working collaboratively to keep the clubhouse clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends is essential.
- Must be comfortable and legally permitted to serve alcohol behind the bar.
- Access to reliable, independent transport to commute to Much Hadham (free staff parking provided).
- Golfing knowledge or experience is a major bonus, but not essential.
Hours & Pay
- Job Type: Part-time
- Hours: Variable weekend shift patterns based on seasonal business opening hours.
- Pay: £12.71 per hour
