Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Barback/Bartender to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving drinks in a welcoming environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and address any concerns promptly
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or serving roles, ideally within a bar or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with guests effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- A personable attitude with a genuine interest in providing outstanding customer experiences
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
