Overview
A versitile electrician is needed for power, lighting, audio and AV cabling in commercial and residential properties.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for power distribution, lighting, audio, and audiovisual (AV) equipment in commercial and residential environments.
- Install as per best practice and trouble solve
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other tradespeople to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults promptly to minimise downtime and inconvenience for clients.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on power systems, lighting installations, audio setups, or AV technology.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers alongside power tools including drills and saws.
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring practices and safety standards recognised within the UK (e.g., BS 7671).
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Valid electrical qualification(s) or relevant certifications recognised in the UK.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in both commercial and residential settings.

Pay and job role
The role is directly working for the site management team.
The pay is a week in hand and the hours completed each day will be paid in line with the day rate.
There will be ongoing work for the right operative.
The position is available to start immediately.
Pay: £220.00 per day
