The Early Years Group is seeking an experienced, passionate and motivated Area Manager to join our growing leadership team. Reporting directly to our Operations Managers, you will play a key role in supporting our Nursery Managers to deliver exceptional care, education and operational excellence across our settings.

About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding leadership position, working across our nursery settings and Head Office. You will provide guidance, coaching and operational support to Nursery Managers, ensuring consistently high standards of education, safeguarding, compliance and business performance.
Working closely with the Operations Managers, Directors and wider leadership team, you will help drive continuous improvement while supporting each setting to achieve its full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coach Nursery Managers to achieve outstanding outcomes.
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of education, care and safeguarding.
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted and all relevant legislation.
- Support recruitment, induction, training and professional development across the group.
- Monitor quality assurance and implement continuous improvement plans.
- Analyse performance data and support managers to achieve occupancy, staffing and financial targets.
- Provide operational support across multiple settings as required.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, staff and external professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the Operations Managers and Directors to support the continued growth of The Early Years Group.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and confident leader who can inspire others and lead by example.
You will have:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, Prevent Duty and Ofsted requirements.
- Experience of successfully managing or supporting multiple nursery settings.
- A proven track record of improving quality and delivering excellent educational outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good commercial awareness with an understanding of budgets and business performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong ICT skills and confidence using nursery management systems.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between settings.
