Helpbox is a fast-growing, tech-forward accountancy firm with 15+ years of experience supporting sole traders and small businesses. We don’t just "do taxes"—we build communities. With an "Excellent" Trustpilot rating and one of the largest accountancy YouTube channels in the UK (160,000+ followers), our inbound enquiry volume is at record-breaking levels.
We are expanding our remote sales team to manage this growth. We are looking for a Remote Appointment Setter who is ready to take our warm leads and convert them into high-value sales opportunities.
The Role
This is a proactive, high-volume hunting role. You are not waiting for the phone to ring; you are actively engaging, qualifying, and closing the gap between a prospect’s initial interest and their first consultation with our expert sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Channel Engagement: Proactively engage with incoming enquiries via phone, email, and SMS.
- Qualification: Rapidly assess prospective clients against our specific onboarding criteria, ensuring only the best-fit leads move forward.
- Appointment Conversion: Establish immediate credibility, build value, and handle objections to secure firm appointments for our closers.
- Target Achievement: Consistently hit daily, weekly, and monthly appointment-setting KPIs.
- Dynamic Sales Delivery: Act as the first point of contact for a highly competitive market, effectively differentiating Helpbox’s tech-meets-personal approach from our competitors.
Requirements
- Experience: 2–3 years of proven success in a high-volume appointment setting or SDR (Sales Development Representative) role.
- Consultative DNA: Demonstrated ability to use a consultative sales approach rather than a "script-reader" mentality.
- Resilience: A hunter’s mindset. You thrive on overcoming objections and are motivated by the challenge of winning business.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills; you are comfortable building instant rapport over the phone.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working remotely and utilizing modern sales tech stacks.
