is looking for a highly motivated
Deputy Head Groundsman
SCP 13 – £29,758.56; Permanent contract for 38 hours per week.
The Council is seeking to appoint an ambitious, hands-on Deputy Head Groundsman to support the Head Groundsman and oversee the maintenance of the Council’s Parks and Sports facilities. This is a busy and demanding role, working to deliver services across an ever-expanding Grove. You will be responsible for maintenance of the Council’s parks, allotments, sports pitches, play areas and skate-park.
You will be expected to attend career progression courses in Grounds Management and Maintenance, and Health and Safety if not already qualified.
The successful candidate will be expected to be appointed to the role of Deputy Head Groundsman with effect 1 August 2026.
