Description:
If you are an engineer/mechanic and want a good work life balance with available overtime, then you are the person for us as we are looking for an experienced person to become part of our Service team. Successful applicants must have a good working knowledge and understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems whilst also being able to demonstrate prior experience of working with mechanical, plant or other similar equipment’s.
The Role:
- Service, maintenance, and repair of forklift trucks and other material handling / plant equipment
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults
- Deliver high‑quality customer service on site
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation via electronic tablets
- Work independently with dealer support and resources
Requirements:
- Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Technician, or similar
- NVQ in Plant Maintenance or Forklift Trucks (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A positive, professional approach with pride in your work
Qualifications (essential):
Industry Qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.) or equivalent
Must be an experience IT user as we use tablets to record job information
Current Driving License with no more than 6 points on licence
Qualifications (preferred):
Forklift Truck Operators License although not essential
Experience/Skills (essential):
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have a good engineering background in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic systems; ideally you will be a multi-skilled engineer with a very good customer focus.

NOTE:
