When: Saturday mornings (term-time only) - starting September 2026
Where: St Hilda's High School, Seton Park
What: Teaching Singing across Musical Theatre and Commercial styles
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are keen to continue developing their teaching skills and experience with a reputable national theatre school.
Responsibilities
- We’re seeking a vibrant, fun, and committed teacher who can confidently deliver high-quality performing arts classes to children aged 4–18.
- You’ll bring energy, creativity, and strong technique to the classroom, delivering lessons that focus on development, confidence-building, and—above all—fun!
- You will plan and prepare creative lessons in line with Razzamataz guidelines
- Teach a variety of styles including Musical Theatre and Commercial
- Promote and maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment
- Support the school with Easter and Summer Holiday Workshops (additional hours)
- Help students prepare for performances, showcases, and termly events
- Follow all health and safety procedures, safeguarding policies, and risk assessments
- Attending team meetings, training sessions and contributing ideas for the forthcoming term.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour by establishing clear expectations and promoting respect among students.
- Ability to teach drama and dance will put you at an advantage
About You:
- A confident, experienced performer and teacher
- Experienced in working across Musical Theatre and Commercial styles
- Aptitude for creating and coordinating fresh, innovative material for termly presentations, public performances and our annual showcase. We do not follow an exam syllabus.
- Organised, enthusiastic, and professional with a passion for teaching
- A positive role model with an energetic, fun-loving personality
- Committed to delivering high-quality training in a supportive and creative environment
- A caring nature, a natural affinity with children and a mature and responsible attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, organised and committed team player.
