Mayflower Stone is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of Granite, Quartz, Sintered Stone and Marble worktops in the South West and we are consistently growing.
Because of this, we are looking for a motivated member of staff to run one of our many stone shaping and polishing machines.
Are you proficient with computer use as the role includes setting up machines using computer programs? Are you physically able as the role does including lifting and maneuvering of stone? Are you looking to begin a career in the exciting stone masonry industry?
Most work that we complete is time sensitive so the applicant should be adept to working under pressure.
Whilst we have many cranes and hoists that assist with the moving and loading of our stone products, we would expect the applicant to be physically fit and be able to handle heavy items if necessary.
Working hours will most likely be from 7.30am to 4.30pm (tbc) and occasionally there may be instances where overtime is necessary.
Level of pay will be based on experience and skill level.
