Job Title: Print Room Supervisor
Location: Salford
Salary: £32,136 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 (37.5 hours per week)

We're looking for a Print Room Supervisor to lead our Print Room team in Salford, ensuring the accurate and timely production of printed components that keep our pharmaceutical operations running smoothly. What you'll be doing
As Print Room Supervisor, you'll support the Print & Componentry Manager in leading a team of Print Room colleagues, ensuring productivity, quality and compliance are maintained at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and motivating the Print Room team to achieve quality and productivity targets.
- Ensuring printed components are produced accurately and on time to support production schedules.
- Maintaining compliance with SOPs, GMP/GDP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting audits, inspections, investigations, customer complaints and deviation processes.
- Monitoring stock levels and working closely with internal departments to ensure component availability.
- Training, coaching and developing team members while monitoring competency.
- Supporting performance management, absence management, holiday planning and employee development.
- Driving high standards of housekeeping, health & safety and quality throughout the department.
- Working collaboratively with Production, Licensing, Quality and Warehouse teams to deliver operational excellence.
What we're looking for
You'll be an organised and proactive leader with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
- Previous experience within print operations or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading or supervising a team.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using stock management, WMS or ERP systems.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements.
- Experience coordinating complex printing activities.
- Experience operating a range of printing equipment, including braille printers, rollback units and counters.
