Coxhead Cleaning Services are currently recruiting for a Early Morning Cleaning Operative (Driver) to join our daytime operations team.
This role involves driving between locations as part of the working day and supporting cleaning teams across a range of sites. The work is predominantly commercial, including offices and commercial premises, with some domestic support where required to assist the day team.
Working hours
- Monday - Friday
- 6:00am – 12:30pm (30 hours per week)
The role
As a Cleaning Operative (Driver), you will play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards across multiple locations. You will work as part of a team, travelling between sites in a company vehicle, and carrying out cleaning duties in line with agreed specifications.
This is a team-based role, not lone working, and requires a good level of energy, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out cleaning duties across multiple sites during early morning hours, ensuring all areas meet required hygiene and presentation standards
- Driving between locations as required, using company vehicles and adhering to all road safety and company driving procedures
- Supporting predominantly commercial cleaning contracts, with some domestic support where required
- Working efficiently as part of a team to complete tasks within agreed timeframes
- Using cleaning equipment and materials correctly and reporting any faults or shortages promptly
- Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when on client premises
- Following all company policies, cleaning specifications, and health and safety procedures
The successful candidate
- Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Must have a clear criminal record
- An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out and any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory clearance
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a small team
- Able to work on own initiative when required
- Good communication skills and a positive work ethic
Full training and uniform will be provided.
Pay
- Hourly rate above minimum wage, age dependent
- Rate subject to successful completion of probation
