At Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, our Time Out Service supports adults with care and support needs while giving unpaid carers valuable time away from their caring role.
For many families, this service is invaluable.
As a Time Out Support Worker, youll spend quality one-to-one time with adults in their homes and local communities, providing companionship, encouragement and emotional support. Sometimes its helping someone enjoy a favourite hobby. Sometimes its a trip out for a coffee. Sometimes its simply having a conversation with someone who enjoys your company.
The moments may seem small, but the difference they make can be life-changing.
