kinderzimmer UK are currently looking for an experienced Room Leader, for either our Baby, toddler or Preschool room!

The setting
Be part of something special at kinderzimmer, our exciting new 68-place nursery in the heart of Walthamstow's vibrant Fellowship Square, where exceptional early years education meets a beautifully designed learning environment. With four spacious playrooms, a dedicated dining room, welcoming reception area, meeting rooms, and a staff wellbeing space, the nursery has been thoughtfully created to support both children and colleagues to thrive. Children will enjoy a secure walled garden with a shaded outdoor area, as well as regular opportunities to explore the nearby town hall green spaces, water fountains, parks, and local community. Ideally located close to bus and train stations, the bustling high street, cafés, and a sports centre, with public cycle parking and historic buildings nearby, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team and help shape a brand-new nursery from the very beginning.
What you will be doing
- Guide, inspire and lead a team of childcare professionals to provide outstanding care and education
- Plan and provide a diverse learning environment that offers consistent stimulation and exciting activities for children both inside and outside
- Deliver learning experiences that support children’s development and nurture them to achieve personal milestones
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues, parents and relevant professionals to attend to each child’s unique needs
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding at all times
- Collaborate with your team to maintain a safe and happy environment on a daily basis
