Are you a qualified STE05 Building Examiner looking for your next opportunity within the rail sector?
Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, is seeking experienced STE05 Building Surveyors / OPI Examiners to join their growing Infrastructure Engineering team. Working on major Network Rail frameworks, you'll undertake inspections and examinations of stations, depots, operational properties and lineside assets, helping to ensure the safety and performance of critical rail infrastructure.
The Role
- Undertake inspections, examinations and condition assessments of rail infrastructure assets
- Examine stations, depots, operational properties and lineside buildings
- Identify defects, deterioration and safety risks
- Produce detailed examination and condition reports
- Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards and safety requirements
- Record survey findings using Citadel and associated systems
- Report critical defects and support operational teams
- Participate in occasional night and weekend possessions
Requirements
- STE05 competency certification
- PTS certification
- Minimum 5 years' experience within rail infrastructure, building surveying, asset inspection or civil engineering
- Experience carrying out inspections and condition surveys of built assets
- Strong knowledge of Network Rail standards and rail safety requirements
- Excellent reporting and technical assessment skills
- Full UK Driving Licence

- Citadel experience
- Previous Network Rail framework experience
- Working at Height, Confined Spaces or Asbestos Awareness certifications
