Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Welcome guests and take their orders in a courteous and efficient manner
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure all drinks are served safely, adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Experience in the hospitality industry demonstrates familiarity with customer service expectations and multitasking under pressure
- Personal qualities include reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude towards teamwork
